BDS (University of Adelaide)
Dr Careena Tan is a compassionate and skilled dentist with eight years of experience focusing on full-mouth rehabilitation. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2016 and has pursued advanced training in minor oral surgery. Patients appreciate her warm, approachable nature and taking the time to ease dental anxiety and build trust. She finds great fulfilment in restoring function and confidence through personalised dental care.
Beyond the clinic, Dr Careena is committed to giving back to the community and providing dental care for students at Wongutha CAPS, a Christian Aboriginal School. She believes in making a difference through dentistry and creating a welcoming and supportive environment for her patients.
For Dr Tan, the most rewarding part of her work is seeing her patients leave with renewed confidence in their smiles. Outside work, she enjoys walking her dog, Beau, at the beach.
Dr Desmond Ng
BDSc (QLD), Grad Cert (Imp Dent)
Dr Desmond Ng is a skilled dentist with 12 years of experience and a keen interest in surgery, implant dentistry, and dental rehabilitation. He has trained in Guatemala, Portugal, and Brazil and is a member of the Canadian Implant Dentistry Network. Passionate about transforming smiles, he finds great fulfilment in helping patients regain confidence and improve their quality of life.
Known for his approachable nature and meticulous attention to detail, Dr Desmond ensures patients feel at ease during treatment. He is skilled with both hands and knows how to enhance efficiency, particularly in surgical procedures. Dr Ng has also volunteered in India, providing essential dental care to underserved communities.
For Dr Ng, the most rewarding part of his work is seeing the positive impact of his care on a patient’s confidence and well-being. Outside work, he enjoys night walks and exploring different cuisines as a passionate culinary enthusiast.
